A few of my quilts from the past....

Not according to Plan !

This little tool was my best friend on Monday ....which was a wet, rainy, snow day ! Perfect for finishing Emily's PYP quilt.
I finally re-downloaded the E2E design and opened the QLI design  in Art and Stitch saved it as a DXF and it was spot on perfect, no stops or jump stitches whew. After I ripped all the bad stitches out I was off to the races again and finished this top that afternoon. Will be posting the completed top with binding soon.
Happy sewing all.

No sewing today, just returned home from Wyoming . Last night got to watch the Grands x2 play soccer . Liah scored the first goal for her team and they ended up winning this game woohoo.
Kloe had a nice game as well, she learned about loosing :( . Hubby and I are headed out to our get away place tonight to grill some steaks and vegy's yum yum .

Liah is number 21 and Kloe has her coat on(below) ...let me tell you it was cold and windy ! We were all ready to get in the vehicle after the games.

Up and at it this am . Vacuuming done, load of clothes (last one) in the dryer, one load left to fold blech  it can wait... Have a little time left before I head out the door and over to Wyoming to watch the granddaughters Liah 8yrs and Kloe 6yrs old play soccer this afternoon. Sew ;) I have started the Pink Yes Please quilting that I posted earlier in the week. An E2E pantograph that has given me fits with some weird stop points . I will be contacting the seller to see if they are aware of it, then I will have to take into my ArtNStitch software to see if I can remove those points, the software is new to me and I haven't played with it much to date. Here's what I have finished so far....

Panda Wall Hanging for our Granddaughter Liah...shhh this is a surprise for her new bedroom. Pattern came from the Fat Quarter Shop and yes it's free . Quilted on my Bernina 880 in a  grid pattern using a 3.0 stitch length. Aren't those flowers pretty ...and oh so fake, what's a girl to do when the snow just left a week ago, fake it I say ! The pattern calls for a beige/tan fabric for the face and body and at first I didn't agree so auditioned white versus tan and went with the pattern choice..... turns out they knew what they were talking about !  Who'd thunk it .

Kari's(our oldest daughter) Tulip Quilt, another freebie from the internet. All over free motion stipple on the Q24.

Kristal's modern hexagon quilt . Quilted on my Bernina Q24. This pattern comes from Missouri Star Quilts, one of my go to places for all things quilty ! I rarely buy patterns anymore, with the internet and google its an all you can piece open bar !
Here's the link to the Out of Bounds tutorial.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljcmo258R0E
Just a few of the reading pillows I made lately for the Grands and nieces and nephews . I usually use a 16" pillow form. The back of the case has a zipper to easily remove the pillow form so you can wash the case. The front and back each have pockets for books, game boys, iPods etc. The kids love them for traveling to sporting events and they are hard to loose with their name embroidered on them .

In progress waiting to be quilted.

This pink creation is now on Ruth, aka Bernina Q24 waiting on me! It will be gifted to our youngest DGD when asked if she wanted a new quilt she said “yes please “ what color would you like “PINK “ enough said Emily.
This on point
Quilt sat for years waiting to be finished, ultimate UFO. Rescued this winter and finished whoop !

Stained Glass-ish...

Isn't this a beautiful window addition ! Purchased from our LQS . Laser cut design comes from stirrupsandstitches.com a local Montana company. No sewing involved, just iron on a piece of Batik to the back of laser and follow directions for adding the dowel...easy peasy ! I love it.
